RESTYLANE® FAMILY

Restylane® is a family of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to restore volume loss to the face, caused by aging. These versatile fillers help to plump up and soften the skin, providing a more youthful appearance.

The Restylane® products can be used to:

Restylane®

Restylane® is used to add volume in patients with moderate to severe facial wrinkles, folds (nasolabial folds), and marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin). It is also used for lip enhancement. The results last up to one year.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft works to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the nasolabial folds. It can also be used to uplift the cheeks and fill in sunken or hollow temples. Since Restylane® Lyft is larger in particle size as compared to Restylane®, it provides the ability to lift deep facial folds. In addition, it can be used to restore aging hands. Lastly, Restylane® Lyft is also the perfect filler for a non-surgical “nose job.” The procedure fills in depressed areas of the nose, lifting the angle or tip, and smoothing the appearance of bumps on the bridge of the nose. Although fillers cannot shorten the nose, it can create the appearance of a smaller nose by making it look straight.

Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk is formulated with smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than other Restylane® products. As a result, it is specifically used for augmenting the lips and smoothing lines around the mouth. It is also ideal for correcting volume loss to the upper eyelids, tear troughs, and eyebrows, but also works extremely well to correct other fine lines including crow’s feet, forehead lines, and horizontal neck lines. The results last up to one year.

Restylane® Refyne

Restylane® Refyne treats mild to moderate facial wrinkles and folds (nasolabial folds), and marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin). The results last up to one year.

Restylane® Defyne

Restylane® Defyne treats moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (nasolabial folds), and marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin). The results last up to one year.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The actual injection treatment can take 15 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on which area of your face is being treated. With most dermal fillers, results can be almost immediate. The most common side effects are tenderness, swelling, firmness, bumps, bruising, redness, itching or discoloration at the injection site. It is important to minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcohol within the first 24 hours following treatment.
