AQUAGOLD®

Trustpilot

AQUAGOLD Fine Touch micro-channeling delivery system takes the standard micro-needling process a step further by simultaneously delivering serums such as vitamins and growth factors, Botox®, or dermal fillers directly into the dermis (inner skin layer). The micro-needle device is made up of tiny 24-karat gold needles, and works painlessly and effectively to rejuvenate your skin.

The advantages of the AQUAGOLD Fine Touch system include decreasing oil production, shrinking of pores, improving acne and acne scars, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and can improve overall skin tightening. AQUAGOLD Fine Touch can be used anywhere on the face, neck and chest.

What should I expect after treatment?

While this treatment involves no downtime or recovery, some patients may see redness and slight swelling for a few days at the treatment site.

How many treatments do I need?

Results are seen within 3-7 days after treatment and typically last approximately 3-4 months. This treatment can be repeated every 1-3 months. Doing several treatments throughout the year will continue to improve overall appearance of your skin.

DO I NEED BOTOX® OR DERMAL FILLERS?

Injectable fillers can help decrease wrinkles by adding volume to the face, which creates the appearance of smooth skin. Botox® works by temporarily limiting the motion of specific facial muscles – those specifically that are continually contracting, eventually creating visible folds and lines. A skilled healthcare practitioner will be able to determine if a dermal filler or Botox® or both, should be used to achieve optimal results.

WHAT ARE POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS?

Side effects are typically very minor, such as bruising or swelling at the injection site, which will quickly fade away.

HOW LONG DO RESULTS LAST?

Results typically show within 7-10 days, and can last for up to 3-4 months.

JUVEDERM® FAMILY

Trustpilot

Over time, aging skin loses elasticity and volume. The loss of skin volume is a result of lower quantities of hyaluronic acid in the body, which naturally deliver nutrients to the skin, to help retain moisture, softness and volume. This natural process, plus genetics and environmental factors like sun exposure, can cause moderate to severe wrinkles, depressed cheeks, and form deepened skin folds.

Thanks to advances in non-surgical cosmetic treatments such as dermal fillers, you can treat the signs of aging without the need for surgery. Dermal fillers come in a variety of formulas to target specific signs of aging that include wrinkles, sagging skin, deep skin folds, volume loss including under-eye hollows, and thinning lips. Most fillers work by boosting the amount of hyaluronic acid in the skin, leading to a smoother, more youthful appearance.

Juvéderm® Ultra XC and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC

Juvéderm® Ultra XC and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC are long-lasting hyaluronic acid fillers that help to reestablish moisture and elasticity to the skin. The two Juvéderm® options differ in consistency and the areas they are best suited to treat.

Juvéderm® Ultra XC works best to correct mild to moderate superficial wrinkles, thinning lips, under eye hollows and dark circles. Juvéderm® Ultra Plus XC is recommended for deeper, more prominent wrinkles and facial folds, lines at the corner of your mouth (marionette lines), and significant volume loss to your cheeks. Results typically last up to one year for both treatment options.

Juvéderm® Voluma XC

This hyaluronic acid dermal filler works to restore age-related volume loss to your cheeks and mid-face to provide fullness, lift, and contour. Results can last for up to two years

Juvéderm® Vollure XC

This hyaluronic acid dermal filler helps by smoothing out moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, specifically around the mouth and nose. Results last up to 18 months.

Juvéderm® Volbella XC

This hyaluronic acid dermal filler is used to add volume and plumpness to the lips, while smoothing fine lines around the mouth as well. The results last up to one year.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

The actual injection treatment can take 15 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on which area of your face is being treated. With most dermal fillers, results can be almost immediate. The most common side effects are tenderness, swelling, firmness, bumps, bruising, redness, itching or discoloration at the injection site. It is important to minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcohol within the first 24 hours following treatment.

RESTYLANE® FAMILY

Trustpilot

Restylane® is a family of hyaluronic acid dermal fillers used to restore volume loss to the face, caused by aging. These versatile fillers help to plump up and soften the skin, providing a more youthful appearance.

The Restylane® products can be used to:

  • Add volume to the cheeks
  • Fill in tear troughs
  • Plump up or enhance lips
  • Correct crow’s feet
  • Fill in and smooth marionette lines
  • Correct nasolabial folds
  • Create a non-surgical “nose job”
  • Fill in hollow temples

Restylane®

Restylane® is used to add volume in patients with moderate to severe facial wrinkles, folds (nasolabial folds), and marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin). It is also used for lip enhancement. The results last up to one year.

Restylane® Lyft

Restylane® Lyft works to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the nasolabial folds. It can also be used to uplift the cheeks and fill in sunken or hollow temples. Since Restylane® Lyft is larger in particle size as compared to Restylane®, it provides the ability to lift deep facial folds. In addition, it can be used to restore aging hands. Lastly, Restylane® Lyft is also the perfect filler for a non-surgical “nose job.” The procedure fills in depressed areas of the nose, lifting the angle or tip, and smoothing the appearance of bumps on the bridge of the nose. Although fillers cannot shorten the nose, it can create the appearance of a smaller nose by making it look straight.

Restylane® Silk

Restylane® Silk is formulated with smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than other Restylane® products. As a result, it is specifically used for augmenting the lips and smoothing lines around the mouth. It is also ideal for correcting volume loss to the upper eyelids, tear troughs, and eyebrows, but also works extremely well to correct other fine lines including crow’s feet, forehead lines, and horizontal neck lines. The results last up to one year.

Restylane® Refyne

Restylane® Refyne treats mild to moderate facial wrinkles and folds (nasolabial folds), and marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin). The results last up to one year.

Restylane® Defyne

Restylane® Defyne treats moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (nasolabial folds), and marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth to the chin). The results last up to one year.

SCULPTRA®

This dermal filler is made of PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid), which stimulates natural collagen production over time. As a result, the results are not immediate, rather slowly appearing over time. In addition, more than one treatment may be required. This product is used to treat volume loss to the face, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, lines and creases.  Results will be delayed over several weeks (up to 4-6 weeks) but can last up to two years.

KYBELLA®

Trustpilot

A double chin can be a stubborn area that regardless of diet and exercise remains visible. While fat can accumulate under the chin from poor diet and/or lack of exercise, it can also develop from genetics and age.  Having fat deposits (submental fat), which soften the jawline, can make a person appear older and overweight, even if they are young and healthy. Kybella® is the only FDA-approved non-surgical injectable treatment that destroys fat cells under the chin to improve your profile.

HOW DOES KYBELLA® WORK?

The active ingredient is synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that is used to help break down fat cells. Once the fat cells are destroyed they can no longer be stored or collected. As a result, further treatment is not necessary once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

IS KYBELLA® IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Best candidates include those who have unwanted fat in the double chin area. Kybella® will have little or no effect on droopy or sagging skin, as its purpose is to destroy fat cells under the chin.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

The actual injection treatment can take 15 to 20 minutes. The number of injections you require will depend upon the amount of fat that has accumulated under your chin. The most common side effects are swelling, redness, bruising, and mild pain. All of these side effects are only temporary and will subside after a short period.  It is important to minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcohol within the first 24 hours following treatment.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

The number of treatment sessions required to achieve optimal results varies between patients. Each treatment session is administered about six weeks apart, with most patients requiring a minimum of 2-3 treatments, up to a maximum number of six treatments. It can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to see results.
